疫情讓人際關係變得更加脆弱。在中國較為簡陋的公共衛生間中，廁所通常是一個填滿糞便的大溝渠，所有糞便都會被一起沖走，儘管這可能是一件噁心的事情。然而，這在疫情期間卻成為了最浪漫的經歷之一。

每一位華人在美國經歷這次疫情都是不容易的，而這些事情很荒唐，帶來生活的顛簸與風波。導演把這些不停頓的顛簸稱為“屎”：

“如果你能在屎塊裡找到真諦，你就能在針眼大小的面積裡找到宇宙之外的維度”。

The pandemic has made human relationships more vulnerable. In less confined public bathrooms in China, toilets are often a large trench filled with excrement that is flushed away together, despite how unpleasant it may be. Strangely, this has become one of the most romantic experiences during the pandemic. This mechanism stems from the ideology of alchemy, a concept that is now being applied to modern times to help the mental state of a Chinese immigrant living in the US during COVID-19.

Many things have not gone as planned, and a lot of unfortunate events have occurred. Dealing with constant challenges has been tough on the director's mental and nervous systems, but they have taken it as an opportunity to learn and grow. They have developed the ability to face the world and gained courage to move forward instead of being stuck. The director applies the concept of alchemy to the inevitability of absurdity in life and portrays them as a form of excrement that has potential to awake us:

sensing the outer dimension of universe through tiny and timid molecules that we carelessly neglect.
